I have loved watching the menopause revolution unfold and I have loved being a small part of it. From so many fantastic campaigners to doctors taking to social media, to celebrities speaking out to politicians creating change, it has for sure been and still is a revolution.
But I cannot help but feel if what is happening at the moment is truly to be called the menopause revolution, it must include ALL people – non binary, some trans men and people with a complex medical history, such as people in menopause after cancer.
And so I set out to create my own: The Menopause And Cancer Podcast was born!

What is the Menopause And Cancer Podcast about?
The Menopause And Cancer podcast is for all people in menopause after a cancer diagnosis and for health care professionals alike.
Each week I’m inviting guest speakers and menopause experts to help us find solutions to our symptoms. We will talk about everything from mental health to physical health, sexual health, to bone health and everything in between. Nothing is off limits.
Managing menopause after cancer diagnosis is certainly a different ball game.
It can make you feel quite lost, not knowing what your options are or who to ask for help. Often we feel as if we’re left out of the bigger menopause conversation. But I’m hoping this will change.
I started this podcast because there was nothing out there when I was thrown into surgical menopause at the age of 39, which followed on from my cancer diagnosis, age 33.
So if you are in menopause after cancer, then I hope my podcast is not only going to be informative, helping you have a better menopause experience, but it’ll also show you that you’re not alone.

A special thanks goes to award winning natural skin care brand bySarahLondon who are the sponsors of a number of our podcast episodes. The brand was founded by sisters, Sarah and Lauren.
The brand story began when Lauren at the age of 23 was diagnosed with a life-threatening form of leukaemia – with only a 20% chance of survival. Lauren had months of chemotherapy, total body irradiation and eventually a life-saving stem cell transplant from her own sister Sarah.
Her skin became super sensitive, reacted to everything. So Sarah developed innovative formulas that cared for her sisters skin.
I have personally bought the hero facial oil and for years now.
Go to bysarahlondon.com and type in code DANI20 to access a very special offer. You will get a 20% discount for your first order on your chosen product.
I could not be happier to be working with such inspirational and incredible people – and I am very grateful for Sarah and Lauren’s support.
